25 MILLION CHILDREN IN THE U.S. CANNOT READ PROFICIENTLY. Nationally, reading performance scores of school-aged children indicate many are falling behind. State-wide NAEP reading scores continue to decline year over year, with the gap widening among underserved communities. Booker Brings works towards a solution!
a family tradition
FROM THE TIME OUR DAUGHTERS WERE BABIES, my husband and I incorporated books into our family’s life. Always having plenty of books around the house and a consistent reading-before-bedtime routine. Yet, as schedules grew busier and tablets more prominent, we were looking for ways to keep books in the picture.
