The Booker Brings Franchise

Booker Brings is a 32-page children’s book with full illustrations to be developed. Appropriate for grades kindergarten and up. Easily translated into other languages. English and Spanish-language manuscripts are currently available.

As a way for Booker and the child to write notes back and forth, a write-on bookmark is recommended to be included. The bookmark is used to help a child communicate with Booker about books and stories, and develop a love of reading.

An interactive component could also exist: Register your Booker online and you can find others in the area to swap books with, share experiences, etc.

Additionally, partnerships with local and national reading advocacy groups are a natural fit for the franchise:

• YMCA
• Park Districts
• Little Free Libraries
• And more!

 The foundational idea of Booker Brings© is that it is possible for a child to learn the value of & develop a love for reading, no matter who or where they are. 

• This occurs through a supportive and consistent relationship between child and friend
• It doesn’t happen overnight, but instead, over time
• It grows stronger as the relationship and time evolve
